Throughout your life (whether you realize it or not) you’ve had multiple opportunities to thrive. We all have.

As a teenager in school you had the opportunity to make the best of your time spent there. For most people that didn’t include study groups, books or a perfect attendance.

In college you had the same opportunity to thrive, and again when you landed your first big job or met the love of your life.

With each new endeavor we have the opportunity to make it all that it can be.

But it’s only when you’re truly ready to live your best life that you’re able to make it happen.

Parents… you’ve probably wondered at one time or another why your child just doesn’t apply themselves or why they aren’t making the best of a situation. But, you were once right where they are.

At their age they don’t always know how to do what’s best for their lives. But, like you did when you grew older and matured, they’ll rise to the occasion and accept the invitation to thrive.

When you’re really ready to want what’s best for your life, you’ll get it. If you feel like opportunities are passing you by (or not showing up at all) you’re not opening your heart to them. Your expectations are getting in the way of what’s in front of you and you’re missing out.

When you really want what’s best for your life, everything becomes an opportunity to make that happen. You show up every day ready to accept things that come your way.

God wants you to be proactive. He wants you to take ownership of your destiny and become someone who is willing to do what you need to do to live your best life. To do that you have to be ready. You have to look at the timing of opportunities as perfect. You have to wrap your arms around them and be ready to give them the attention and care that they need.
